A familiar title can mean more than one production
Use the year and cast together when a name repeats. New artwork is not enough to establish a new version, and similar posters can hide two genuinely different productions. The choices below keep those identities separate.
Series should keep separate checkpoints
The British and American versions of The Office and Ghosts have different episode lists. Save the production you are actually watching. A checkpoint for one should not send you into the corresponding episode number of the other.
Film adaptations deserve a separate look
The Taking of Pelham One Two Three and The Taking of Pelham 123 share a central premise but belong to different years and casts. Open their details to compare them. A remake is not simply the earlier film in a different picture-quality setting.
Movie Stars, the sitcom
The 1999 Movie Stars series with Harry Hamlin and Jennifer Grant is also distinct from the name of this website. Search the title with 1999 when you want that production. For the general film catalog, choose Movies instead.
